Our Wedding

Engagement
Mid-march (a month after getting engaged!), we drove to Silver Falls, an hour south of Portland, for an engagement photo shoot with our wedding photographer. We just love the forest and couldn’t imagine our first photos anywhere other than in the trees. Happily, there was a break in the weather for just one day, our day, for an outdoor photo shoot. It was perfect.
Rehearsal Dinner
To thank our wedding party for joining us onsite for the rehearsal and, oh yeah, for being awesome, we booked a painting party at Bottle & Bottega. We just love Oregon and selected a painting of Cannon Beach at sunset for everyone to ‘follow the artist’ and re-create. Of course, the kiddos all chose to create their own masterpieces. We catered with Roxy’s Island Hawaiian grill and our dino suit even made an appearance.

We did it! We held our dream wedding at Bridal Veil Lakes in the gorge, surrounded by our closest friends and family. It was a beautiful, perfect day for us, filled with love and joy. These are just the ‘teaser’ photos sent by our photographer and we are already in love with them. Final photos from photographer to come by end of September. Enjoy!

HONEYMOON
Just two days after our wedding, we flew to Jamaica for an all-inclusive week on the beach! It was super hot and humid, but gorgeous. We did some snorkeling, but mostly we did nothing. And it was fabulous!
